Oblivion is a SuperhardmodeBoss and the final boss in Exxo Avalon.
- 2Behavior
- Night-Eye is the only way of seeing in the dark that does not increase your detectability. (Then again, you could always maximize the brightness.) However, it also makes everything appear blue, and therefore makes it more difficult to pick out items and more difficult to recognize dark corners to sneak in.
- I'm using a different night-eye mod right now, but I'm getting tired of casting it every 30 seconds, especially as a stealth character. IMO, night-eye should last a very long time, but be toggleable, cast to turn on, cast again to turn off, or a sustained spell, where a certain percentage of your mana is reserved to sustain the night eye spell.
Sep 13, 2008 The filename must not exceed 100 characters or you will cause Oblivion to crash. (Was previously AddNightEyeShader, although you can still use that command as an alias). SetNightEyeShader This allows you to deactivate, activate a shader or add a night eye shader to the night eye effect list. Shader number 0 is always the default Oblivion shader.
Spawn[edit | edit source]
Oblivion does not spawn on its own, and must be summoned with the Eye of Oblivion at Night.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
First form[edit | edit source]
The first phase of Oblivion is similar to the Eye of Cthulhu in appearance. However, it will fire occasional dark matter fireballs at the player(s) in the eye phase. It will also ocassionally spawn World Feeders to it's aid. When this phase gets to 1/3 HP, it will spin and turn into an eye-mouth, also similar to the Eye of Cthulhu. It will then spew dark matter flamethrowers at the player(s). Instead of World Feeders, it will now spawn Mechanical Diggers instead. Once this phase is dead, it drops to the ground and is undamageable. After 5 seconds, it will switch to its second form.
Second form[edit | edit source]
'Oblivion has been reborn!'

In its second form, Oblivion is identical to Skeletron Prime, except that there are 2 heads; in addition, the arms will be different. The laser arm will fire a 360 degree spread of lasers, the bomb arm will fire homing bombs that explode on contact with the player, and the other two arms will be like Skeletron Prime's arms.
- At half health, the purple-eyed head will spawn Astigmatazer and the yellow-eyed head will spawn Infernaspaz.
- Also at half health, the yellow-eyed head will spawn The Twins and the purple-eyed head will spawn the Destroyer.
- Once the purple-eyed head reaches 40,000 HP or lower, it will begin to fire a 360 degree spread of bombs from its center.
- Once the yellow-eyed head reaches 50,000 HP or lower, it will begin to fire a 360 degree spread of lasers from its center.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Oblivion, while only being able to be summoned at night, will NOT instantly kill the player or become immune when day breaks. The player will be able to continue fighting. However, if the player dies, they must wait until nighttime to spawn Oblivion again.
- You can summon another oblivion when oblivion is in it's second phase
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Oblivion's 'yellow' head has 150,000 HP, which is the same amount as Ultrablivion. This boss was the final boss of the tConfig mod.
- A special health bar appears in both of Oblivion's forms. This is similar to Ultrablivion's in the tConfig mod.

Is there any sort of mod out there that alters the Night Eye effect so that it functions exactly as it did in Morrowind? The whole 'searing blue light' effect is completely unappealing to my eyes, making it one of the most useless spell effects I'm in possession of.I'm not looking for anything fancy, or a mod that 'changes Night Eye and any random number of other things that I don't want changed'. Morrowind kept things simple by having Night Eye gradually enhance the brightness around the player based on the magnitude of the spell or enchantment used, so I'm looking for a mod that does the exact same thing.
